Brentwood | Crestwood Hills

Located in Westside Los Angeles, Brentwood was originally part of the Rancho San Vicente and Santa Monica land grant. At first, it was part of the small community of Westgate, later annexed by the city of Los Angeles in 1916. Over the years celebrities like Joan Crawford, Steve McQueen, and Marilyn Monroe were drawn to the appeal of the area, and in 1932, it hosted several Olympic games.

It used to be one of Hollywood’s best kept secrets. With tree-lined streets of well-manicured homes in a range of architectural styles, stretch up into the hills. Estates are spread out, offering plenty of privacy and seclusion. Brentwood is a quiet, upscale neighborhood on the Westside. Bordered by Mulholland Drive to the north, Wilshire Boulevard to the south, Sullivan Canyon/Westridge Trail to the west and the San Diego Freeway to the east.  San Vicente Boulevard, the main road, features chic Italian bistros, warm cafes, and the historic Brentwood County Mart.

Brentwood is one of Los Angeles’ finest neighborhoods, home to upscale restaurants, designer stores, and specialty food shops. The amazing Getty Center Museum with its world-renown art collection, and breathtakingly beautiful views. There are also numerous parks, hiking and biking trails.

With its unrivaled location, Brentwood was named one of the best neighborhoods to live in Los Angeles, to raise a family in, and one of the best neighborhoods for young professionals by Niche.com in 2020.

For architecture enthusiasts, there’s also The George Sturges House, a 1,200-square-foot home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and Paul R. Williams’ Hunt Residence, designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monuments.
