Presenting the George Deutsch Residence Deutsch worked with Lautner on the built-ins and cabinetry for the Wolff Residence.  Becoming enamored with the unique design of Lautner’s masterpiece. 7187 Macapa is a site-specific, 2/3 scale model of Lautner’s Wolff Residence. Lautner’s only homage to his teacher, Frank Lloyd Wright.

This unique property was drawn by John Lautner as a retirement gift for his favorite cabinet maker/woodworker. George Deutsch then built his dream home himself, choosing to construct it entirely from wood, given his skill and experience with the material.
