Beverly Hills Richard Neutra's William H. Levit

British hairstylist icon Vidal Sassoon was known for the geometric hairstyle called the five-point cut. With clients like Goldie Hawn and Mia Farrow sporting this 1960’s classic look, it would have probably cost a small fortune to have him cut our own locks. Well, one of two RICHARD NEUTRA homes he owned with his wife has now hit the market. And, guess what, it’s a small fortune (as the finer things often are).

The home is being sold by his last wife, designer Rhonda Sassoon. Known as the William H Levit house, it’s a classic Neutra post and beam. We can understand why the Sassoons were drawn to the simple geometry of Neutra. Clean lines and angles abound in this 1960’s architecture from its six-sided polygon shaped pool to the double side cut out fireplace.

Ms. Sassoon has made the most of this 2,600 square foot home with modern furniture and artwork perfectly placed. The landscaping is simple yet elegant. Think desert lush. If only we had a cool $11M lying around. Perched at one of the highest points in Beverly Hills, Richard Neutra’s William H. Levit house epitomizes the California architectural ideal, offering some of the most breathtaking views in Los Angeles.

This paradisiacal aerie features an unparalleled vantage point for spectacular sunsets, complemented by an exquisite cactus garden. The stunning view from the pool extends all the way to the ocean, while the front showcases the majestic purple mountains of San Gabriel and the vibrant skyline of downtown LA. Centrally located in Beverly Hills, this iconic home was originally built in 1961 and has since been enhanced with touches by Marmol Radziner and a comprehensive renovation by Ronnie Sassoon in 2012.

The house is walled and gated for privacy and includes an attached two-car garage. It is in move-in condition, boasting a state-of-the-art kitchen and four Carrera marble bathrooms. Of the four bedrooms, two are primary-sized with double sink bathrooms, providing ample luxury and comfort. Beverly Hills Richard Neutra’s William H. Levit.
